What ever happened to nice manners?First, a disclaimer: This is strictly gossip. But according to TMZ.com, Rachael Ray has joined the ranks of Celebs Who Were Clearly Out of the Office the Day They Offered Sensitivity Training. At a dinner in L.A. in 2005, Ray apparently had a few too many and said much too much:
I'm not really a fan of Ray anyway -- I saw part of her talk show the other day and it seemed like she was just yelling -- but I didn't think she was a crazy a-hole either. She apparently had a few choice words for Brangelina too, but to me those are much less worrisome than the racist remarks. Ray's publicist says the story is completely false. Here's hoping. You know, there's something weirdly satisfying about finding out SUCH an annoyingly perky woman like Ray (love to hate her) has a evil demon lurking inside her :)
Not that we aren't all varying degrees of racist ourselves, but this is just about selfish wish fulfilment *grin*
At first I liked her...now she just scares me.
First of all, I highly doubt she said something like this. But in the slim chance that she did, I think she knows better than to bite the hand that feeds her - she probably meant it as an observation about the way Oprah embraces her heritage in ways that can seem painful, ie: "problems being black." Maybe?
I am not RR's biggest fan by any means. I like her food shows but really don't watch her hour show much. But I have been seeing a steady stream of supposed quotes from her that get more and more ignorant sounding and I do not believe them for a moment.
Well, she's also a Republican- so I have no problem hating her.

Hee hee... That made me laugh, and it totally didn't supprise me! I've never been a fan of her show(s), she just came off too loud and bossy to me. And besides, Food Network offers way more appealing cooking shows and hosts, i.e. Giada deLaurentiis, Nigella Lawson, Ellie Krieger, and for you bisexual girls, there's Bobby Flay, Tyler Florence, Jamie Oliver... Hell, even Paula Deen is more appealing and entertaining than her!
Rachel is pathetic. She literally took a vow to "OBEY" her perv. husband. Follows him around like a puppy dog. Apparently, she's a jerk too! And I'm sick of seeing her face EVERYWHERE in the grocery store.
Eh, I view this report as dubious at best. Unless someone recorded her on their cellphone, it's a bunch of unsubstantiated drek. As for her show? Totally unwatchable. She's about as engaging as my dead grandmother, after she died. Before she died she was great, full of funny stories and insightful anecdotes. After death, not so much. Ray falls into the not so much column. Kind of like Arsenio Hall the last two years of his show.
Oh, Sara, I have to reply...my sister has a straight girl crush on Giada deLaurentis. We were out for cheap drinks one night a couple of months ago, and BAM! She admitted to a straight girl crush on Giada, right in front of her boyfriend. He didn't care, of course, but I had my secret moment of 'everyone is gay!'. Then it passed and we drank the last of the real Rolling Rock beer before Budweiser took over the name and moved the brewery to New Jersey, thereby bastardizing any semblance of taste.

as for RR...I dig 30 minute meals. she's quirky and cute. but her daytime show? W.T.F Mate.

and basically her friend liked the boy she liked.
yea, that's wicked drama.
now if her manfriend had slept with 90% of her friends, bought a cat with 80% of those, and had a frequent rental card from uhaul...it might be closer to what I consider drama..

I. Hate. This. Woman. She is a talentless hack. How she managed to have 9827389578235 shows is beyond me. She's loud, obnoxious, and probably the worst tipper on the face of the earth (see $40 a Day). I wish she'd go away. How dare she be on the box of Wheat Thins? It ruins my snack time. haha

Despite always wanting the ability to make decorations out of crap around my house..I'm still glad to say I am not Martha. :) I'm astifledchance or easier to spot..the crazy cat lady from The Simpsons.
