2009 Hot 100 Preview: YVONNE STRAHOVSKI

While still far too few folks watch the fantastically funny series Chuck, it’s heartening to know that at least you’ve notice its star Yvonne Strahvoski. The Australian beauty makes her first appearance on the AfterEllen.com's Hot 100 list this year. Though, I think it might have been illegal if she didn't. I mean, look at her.

The relative unknown landed the starring role as Agent Sarah Walker in 2007. Since then she mixed winsome and lethal like no other as the handler and (and maybe love interest) for geeky, hapless CIA operative Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi). Have I mentioned that she looks good in a tank top?

Yvonne had made Sarah kickass yet conscientious, cool yet caring, sweet yet steely. Fans of the show have started a Save Chuck campaign to ensure the show gets a third season. Seriously, why aren’t you watching Chuck, again?

Yvonne got my vote! She had me the moment I saw her on Bonnie Hunt one day and I heard her accent and she told this cute-geeky story of trying to clean her place with her folks coming to visit for the first time and at the same time, being afraid of a spider who decided to settle there and welcome her parents. lol

I placed her at 2nd in my Top 10 list. =P Chuck is also 2nd in the list of my favorite TV shows ever.lol

I hope the show can be saved, it's all kinds of awesome and Yvonne is most definitely one of the reasons to watch!

Granted, I've never watched Chuck, but I don't understand the fuss about Ms. Strahovski. Sure, she's pretty, but she's one of those bland blondes that I can't distinguish from a dozen other actresses. Like Naomi Watts. Even though I've seen at least three films of hers, I never recognize her when I see her. Someone always has to tell me who she is.

i had never even heard of Chuck until a few weeks ago, this is like the third thing I've heard now.. perhaps I shall try and watch an ep online sometime. she's pretty but doesn't look the type i get crushes on, but who knows til i watch. Sarah Chalke doesn't seem my type from looks either and she's awesome

also, I know this is about Yvonne but, just 'cus I think Rachel Maddow's gonna do really well, I would LOVE it if one of her co-workers emabarrassed her about it on the show.. it has a slight chance of happening right? (omg imagine if Ana Marie teased her about it ^.^) she'd be glad of the makeup then! (cus of blushing)
