My mouth dropped the second I saw the side-by-side and not in the good way that Paige used to make my mouth drop when I watched Charmed (and Phoebe wasn't on-screen).

This is kind of heart-breaking. She looks nothing like herself.

She looks half dead in both of those pictures.  She used to be so gorgeous and now?  Ugh.  Okay, I know this sounds horrible but I think a waif/lollipop-head/anorexic star is going to have to die for this shit to stop.  Where are these people's families and loved ones?  Where are their friends?  Hell, where are the producers that hire them?  Is Hollywood going to end up having to put in a body mass index minimum like the Spanish/British fashion shows did?

You know what is really sad is she seems to have done this in secret and waited to reveal her new, probably improved in her eyes, self on the front of some magazine.  Am I the only one that missed the gradual weight loss because the last time I remember seeing her was the Charmed era pictured above?

You know, if it were male stars cutting their ears off bits at a time because that was the in thing to do to the point where it became epidemic in hollywood instead of women starving off bits of themselves, this problem would have been solved a long time ago because people would have stopped hiring them.  Instead you have the producers telling these girls they are great, but could you lose about 10 pounds? 

Sorry but I hope whichever one of them is going to die (and it IS going to happen) would do it soon to maybe start to save the others.  This really just disgusts me, moreso on the professionals end with their 'lose 10' attitude than the girls who really do have a sickness which can sometimes be triggered simply by those 'lose 10' comments said often enough by people in powerful enough positions.  So, as far as this time around...fuck you Tarantino and fuck you Entertainment Weekly for putting her front and center on your cover.

First of all, Rose isn't lacking nutrition in any way, whatsoever.  I agree that she doesn't look so hot on the Entertainment Weekly cover and the image on the right, but everyone is entitled to look like crap once in a while.  And in case you didn't know, Rose sustained serious injuries to her face from a car accident at the beginning of the year, but is recovering very well (in my opinion) - so give her a break. 

BTW, McGowan is not half Italian.  Her American parents were members of a hippie religious group called The Children of God and moved to Italy where she was eventually born until they later returned to the States.  Her father is of Irish descent and her mother is believed to have French ancestry. 

Anyway, we can forgive Rose for the "tan in a bottle" thing can't we?  Here are some recent photos of her from the 2007 ShoWest Award Ceremony to make you feel horny .. I mean better.

And, those pictures are supposed to show us what, the quick progression of anorexia over the period of a couple of months? 

It's not her looks that are the problem it's the very obvious sloughing off of weight.  The pictures you linked to show emaciated ankles and arms that are extremely haunting when compared to pictures of her on that very site from a couple of years ago all the way up to last year. 

So, really, what's your point?  Being pro-ani doesn't help the sufferer.  Every single picture above could have been cut off at the neck and it would still be obvious that we are looking at a woman suffering from an eating disorder.  It has nothing to do with any injuries she may have incurred recently or anything else. 

She is killing herself slowly and since you seem to be a bit of a fan (do you also know her shoe and bra size?), I'd think you'd want to do something more than make excuses for a quite obvious problem. 

Again, looking at the images posted at http://r-mcgowan.org/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=375, I don't really think that Rose looks as bad as some are making it (her appearance) out to be.  She's definitely thinner than she once was, but I wouldn't put her in the same ranks as Lara Flynn Boyle or Terri Hatcher just yet.  Not with those curves.  Still, if it turns out that McGowan truly is starving herself, I hope she gets some help soon.

Oh and to answer your question (partially), I believe she's a 36C.  Why the harsh words about Tarantino?  He just put her in a movie that just might save her career.  Nothing more.
