Hilary Swank does Ellen on her show

Hilary Swank: three-time Golden Globe nominee, two-time Academy Award winner, one-time Ellen DeGeneres impersonator.

Yes, you read that last bit right. Lesbian twinsies syndrome can strike in the most unexpected places.

The acclaimed Boys Don't Cry and Million Dollar Baby star dropped by Ellen's show Monday and darn it if I wasn't seeing double.

OK, I can't be the only one who giggled like an idiot through that whole thing. From the tie to the sneakers it was just uncanny. And I really feel like Hilary dedicated herself to the role. I mean, the woman has two Oscars at home — she's no amateur. And, who knows, maybe there was a little method acting going on. Has anyone talked to Portia recently? Perhaps there was some coaching beforehand.

Though, in a dance-off, I'd still have to give it to Ellen. Hilary was a tad stiff — hilarious, but stiff.

So, did Hilary out-Ellen Ellen? Or is there still only one great panted one who rules daytime TV? Discuss.

I had no idea Hilary was going to be on and I just happened to catch the show yesterday. But I found myself laughing so much my cheeks hurt!

While Hilary exaggerated Ellen's mannerisms...it was obvious she has watched Ellen a time or two...so all-in-all did a great impression.

Ellen seemed to really enjoy watching Hilary interact with the audience.

It was a fun show.

i'm not sure about this, i think she pulled off the "ellen-look" but Hilary doen't necessarily have a great sence of humor. haha she's a really great actress and i love her in Iron Jawed Angels, The Next Karate Kid, Freedom Writers, and a bunch of other good films. Plus she's super hot. so...i'd say it's a tie. They're both great. i love them both.

i just saw it by accident but boy was I glad I did. Hilary was hilaryous and I couldn't help but giggle like an idiot as well. it was one of the best ellen moments ever ;)

It actually makes sense now I've seen the start of the interview, I saw some of it and wondered if i was imagining Hilary's gayness! seeing the whole thing just made my day so funny and great that someone did that.

That imitation was spot on. I mean she is no Tina Fey but she did an awesome job. I have to say that I didn't like Hilary Swank that much anymore after seeing that horrible movie calles P.S: I love you. I know, even the title sucks. But she was not good in that, I thought she lost her magic touch but after this impression I have my faith back. She probably rocks as Amelia Earhart!

OMG Ellen's looking more butchy these days.. before she used to be soft butch.. but now she gone a bit hardcore... I'm not liking her that much anymore.. actually I had a crush on her before... HAHAHAHA HILARY I liked that.. hahaha Ellen's face was like erm hehehe... small chuckle hahaha kinda embarassed "do I have always a suprise face?"
