Cat Cora and wife Jennifer welcome new baby boy

OK! Magazine is reporting that Jennifer Cora, wife of Cat Cora (Iron Chef America), gave birth to a baby boy, Thatcher Julius Cora, on Saturday, April 4.

Their representative told OK!: "Cat and Jennifer loved the old English name Thatcher, and Julius was Jennifer's grandfather's name. Both mom and baby are doing great!"

As we've previously reported, Cat Cora is also currently pregnant with a boy and is due in July. The couple have been together for over ten years and already have two sons, Zoran and Caje, both of whom were carried by Jennifer. All of the children share the same anonymous sperm donor.

In what seems to be auspicious timing, this week Cat Cora also announced that she'll be partnering with Disney World in Orlando, Florida to open a new Mediterranean-style restaurant. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Cora's restaurant, Kouzzina, will be owned and operated by Disney and is scheduled to open by fall 2009 on Disney's BoardWalk.

Cora says that Kouzzina will offer "time-honored recipes passed down from my ancestors, as well as my favorite Greek and Mediterranean dishes that my family loves."

Congratulations to Cat and Jennifer! Four boys in the household when Cat gives birth. Good luck to them.

Of course I'll be eating at Cat's new restaurant when it opens. Everything she touches seems to turn to gold. I love her.

Congrats to the Cora family! I'm sure they're extremely thrilled and even more anxious for the next arrival.

It seems that I don't see Cat on tv as much lately. Bummer!

Yay for them! That is the coolest thing I've heard in days. (Iowa and Vermont marriage was pretty cool, too.)

I had no idea Chef Cora is a lesbian!!! I am addicted to Iron Chef America and watch every Sunday night. I have always enjoyed watching Chef Cora because of her spunk and her originality with her dishes. Now that I know that she is a fellow sister and married as well, it will make watching her all the sweeter!

Cat Cora is such a fantastic role model. She actually helped my niece in understanding my lesbianism. She gave me a Cat Cora cookbook and said, "She has a wife like you want to have one day." Amazing how an Iron Chef can give a nine-year-old understanding. We spent that night cooking from the book and talking with one another.

I can't wait for the restaurant to open, not that I needed another reason to go to Disney World. It being Cat Cora's restaurant is just an added bonus.

It's not strange at all that Disney would work with an out lesbian. Remember that Disney was one of the first large companies to offer domestic partnership benefits to its employees, and they participate in the annual Gay Days celebration. They have been considered to be very gay friendly for years, so no, not strange to me...and I will definitely visit when I am on that side of the country!

I think it's wonderful That your in the spot light an still out.I had no idea! It is a breath of fresh air seeing two very hot an sexy women together. It gives me hope.
