"Sarah Connor" wants you — or at least your design skillsLike Siege, I'm a fan of pretty posters. Let's take another look at one, just to refresh our memories:
It's hard to imagine how anyone could improve on that, but now you have an excuse to try. Fox has announced a fan poster contest for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Create the winning promotional poster, and you'll win a trip for two to L.A., where you'll attend the premiere party on Jan. 9. Your poster will also be displayed on the show's official website. (And Fox will be forever grateful for the free labor.) To create your own homage to Lena Headey, visit www.fox.com/terminator to download fonts, graphics and title cards. Apply your mad design skillz and submit your entry via the website by Dec. 14. The five finalists' submissions will be posted on the site, and public votes will determine the winner — so if you get that far, remind us all to vote you into the inner sanctum! For inspiration, here's a Sarah Connor trailer: Is it just me, or is Lena a lot less sexy with an American accent? I hope this doesn't turn into another accent fiasco, a la Bionic Woman. Huh? I was under the impression that even those who didn't particularly like Ryan or the show were mostly in agreement that her accent was pretty decent.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Re-reading your post, I can see the context of 'so much better' ... well ... so much better now. I have to admit, I'd never seen Ryan in anything prior to Bionic Woman - I don't watch Eastenders and I didn't see Jekyll until after I started watching BW - so I can't say I've really noticed a difference in acting ability. I may be wrong, but I believe the 'Mockney' (as my London-bred best pal put it) Eastenders accent was an act too and that her 'real life' accent is RP (as heard in a recent BW episode thanks to a bizarre 'You're going undercover in an American college, so pretend to be an English chick!' storyline). And ... well, I'm beginning to feel a bit of 'derailing the thread' guilt, so I'll stop now.
P.S. I'm Scottish, so I'm pretty meh about UK accents. Except Geordie. Or Yorkshire.
(Now distracting myself by picturing Sarah Connor as a Geordie ...)

Now, I loves me some Lena Headey, but that top poster fails me. It has such potential, and yet, her toothpick arms turn me off. (And the airbrushed vein is just stupid.) Nay, I do not long for the ripped muscles of Linda Hamilton, I'd just like to see an arm that looks like it could actually hold that gun without snapping off.

I REALLY REALLY LOVE her english accent but I think she looks great acting with american accent, I mean she is an excelent actress.

Well, having been entirely and wildly infatuated with Linda Hamilton (as the legendary Sarah Connor) durring my Grade 11 year of high school I would have never imagined that anyone could fill those combat boots!
To my glee and surprise a sweet little English rose has managed to morph into the 'Mother of the Future'! Check out those arms ladies...Gorgo beware!!!

Well, gotta hand it to your observation - those arms are indeed... yummy half way down. For the restly weirdness of Lena's right forearm I blame Photoshop. (seriously... proportionally it's like an arm made of two different parts. O.o )

Lena's voice
It's her voice that makes me quiver...never mind her accent. Sure, I'd prefer an English accent, but she wouldn't be in this role without an American accent.
After all, I've got used to Hugh Laurie in House, and I have fond memories of him playing silly upper class twits on UK TV :)
I'm not sure Michelle Ryan is quite suited to the role of Bionic Woman. She doesn't have the necessary bolshie attitude. Not like Katee Sackhoff, who has it down to a fine art :)
