TV alerts: "CSI," "The Office" and "Ugly Betty" return; plus Melissa Etheridge talks to Dave and RegisAfter last night's premiere bonanza, tonight is all about the returning shows. On CSI (CBS), we may find out whether Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) escaped from the miniature killer's clutches. We still won't know what she ever saw in Grissom.
On The Office (CBS), Michael thinks the office is cursed. The first four episodes this season are hour-long Pam-apaloozas. (No, they don't really focus on Pam, but I will.)
And Emmy winner America Ferrera returns in Ugly Betty on ABC.
Also notable: Smallville (CW) features a "mysterious female savior" and Survivor: China (CBS) features mudwrestling (how do you say "jump the shark" in Mandarin?). And some show called Grey's Anatomy is still on the air, despite my midnight incantations to the contrary. Bonus! Melissa Etheridge and Whoopi Goldberg are on Late Show With David Letterman tonight and Melissa and Sally Field are on Live With Regis and Kelly tomorrow. Yay for Melissa on David Letterman tonight! Oddly enough, I woke up this morning with the TV on the Today Show and she was on it too. That may have been posted here but I missed it if it was. In any event, it was a nice surprise.

Has everyone watched CSI now?
I really wanted to comment the episode. Stayed up all night and 4:12 (CET) this morning someone uploaded the ep so I could steal it. 12 MINUTES after it ended! That is awesome!
And then I watched it.
I've always said that Jorja/Sara is the reason I started watching the show and she'll be the reason I stop watching.
She is just so MMMM!

What does Sara see in Grissom (and vice-versa)? How about intelligence, acceptance, adoration, and did I mention intelligence? I've always imagined their private (intimate) lives to be the direct opposite of the controlled and calm exteriors necessary to do their jobs --- Hot, hot, and totally out of control! Now, if only they could get Lady Heather to join in....whew!
