TV Alert: An Horse on "The Late Show with David Letterman"

Australian band An Horse is officially releasing its debut album, Rearrange Beds, in America next week, and is currently touring in support of it. Tonight, the duo will be reaching one of the largest American audiences yet with an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.

The duo of out lesbian Kate Cooper and drummer Damon Cox are represented by Sara Quin of Tegan and Sara, which is certainly a winning recommendation.

"Kate's lyrics about love, relationships and the tendency to fixate on disabling neurosis in oneself have become my mission statement," Sara said in a press release. "I get goose bumps, electrical currents running up my arms listening to them — I love this band."

Take it from her (and me): Rearrange Beds is a fantastic indie-pop album. Check them out tonight on The Late Show and see if they're your kind of music.

Im so excited to watch tonight! I've met Kate a couple of times at Tegan and Sara concerts and she's so sweet and quite funny. Buy the album Rearrange Beds and check out Iron On, another band she was in--Amazing.

I go so hard for An Horse I feel like they're running for something! And I'm working for their campaign!!! (and Sara would of course be the campaign manager)

I have INSANE big love for them, Kate is so funny and sweet and Damon is a sweetie as well. I don't know if he's more reserved at shows if so its cause hes shy cause hes just the best kinda guy i love him too!!!

I will definitely be watching that tonight! I love An Horse. Saw them before a Tegan and Sara concert and they have such amazing energy. And I agree, i'm a big fan of Iron On as well.

LOVE An Horse. Great, catchy music. I'm totally gonna TiVo that tonight. They are such a cool band. Gonna see em live next month, so I'm excited for that. Congrats to them for making it on Letterman!

Ellen is on the Tonight Show tonight as well. Her interview should be over before An Horse come on on Letterman, so it should work out to be an awesome, dykey night on TV tonight (and how often can you say that?)!
