My mom did all the talking (after I told her I had a gf) and told the wohle family incl. the grandparents. They talked about it and they were totally fine with it. They havent talked about it with me though, and I didnt talk to them (I don't really like them). Untill now everyone has reacted really cool.   :)

Having just told my grandma about 3 days ago, I can definitely attest to the awkwardness of the whole situation.  She's actually totally fine with it, though.

 And...by the way...I would totally pick Spencer.

I remember back in the first vlogs when Dee said Jenn was a pimp lol ... and to what Dee said about saying your girlfriend is  a friend it's so not a lie .. i think that it is important for you girl to be your friend first off as well as your lover .. It seems that a lot of people take a long time to come out to grandparents .. like coming out to your parents is one tough thing but your grandparents is a totally different issue ...Im basically out to the world except my family and i plan on coming out to my parents but have no plans to tell my grandparents lol .. Lastly I so hope someone saves South of Nowhere .. its like every good show ends and the wack ones seem too stay on too long ~~~

... she caught me by suprise one day and asked me and I quote "How are the girls treating you in college?" I was caught COMPLETELY off guard when she asked me that. Mind you she is blind and I wasn't even out to my family yet but still she managed to figure out that I was gay.  After she said that we talked for about an hour but she told me she hasn't told my grandfather. So I'm out to everyone but my grandfather.

i hate the promos too. but loved the retrospectives.

you should recap the webisodes, too. they always get overlooked.  i know that they are mostly crap. but think they play a role in the direction of the show sometimes.

that frickin 'almost hotness' webisode from 3A should have definitely been in the actual episode.

I have to put myself on the Late List, because I just recently discovered SoN.

The Ashley Spencer debate:

This is what I would do. I would sleep with Ash, because she is the "bad girl". Bad girls are hot and wild. When I was ready to settle down I would settle down with Spencer, cause she is a "good girl" and like someone else said the quite good girls are usually freaks in the bed.

The grandparents thing:

I am out to my grandmother. I did not tell her, she just knows. She loves my gf.

The friend/ lover thing:

I am guilty of telling family members and others that my gf is my "friend", it's true she is my friend. But lets be honest some people  know when that "friend" is more than a friend. No matter how hard we try to pretend it is just friendship. If someone wants to keep their relationship private thats cool I will play along and pretend I don't know.

Another sensational Vlog! Summer went by far too quickly, but its great to have you two back again. 

Just a thought. Why did Grandma bother to tell them that she didn't love Grandpa? What did that have to do with anything?  Unless...  Could it be that Grandma falls in the catagory of "Gay, but believes that it is so wrong that she never acts on it, marries a man she doesn't love, believes everyone else should do the same b/c it is the proper thing to do in her mind, and is a cranky, judgemental, controling woman b/c of it.  Spencer couldn't be the only gay person in her family tree.  The apple could have fallen from Grandma's branch.  Her adamant statement of it being a choice might mean that she chose to deny her real self and therefore so should everyone else. It is sad but true that many of that generation and even today live as a self-denying gay martyr. 

I totally missed ya'll previous CWMIYWTL. Cause I was getting mad. So, I watched this one and Jen is a mess. Then, I watched the last one and Dee was a mess. How did you get bumb-rushed by a DOG?!! So, ya'll is wildin out on these. I keep trippin cuase SON is endin. I was thinking the same thing, that there will be nothing to watch on TV. Someone has to make up a show quick.

I do have to admit that I thought the getto girl, documentary girl's friend, was kind of cute. She was skinny and tryin too hard but I guess they did not want to just have the girls start making out. That is how obvious they were pushing the grandmother to say something. BUT.... I really wanted to see a fight with Kyla and Ashley cause if I would have been made a fool of on national tv it would have been a blow out. They just cut it too nothing. It was highly sweet that Ashley was still caring about Spencer's birthday and wanted to see her. I would have been fumin mad. I would have did a scene with Ashley choking the s--t out of Kyla.

Ya'll do need to do something on Terminator cause it is off the chain this season and Lena Headey is looking so fine!!! Do a short recap so you can just show hot pics cause she is SMOKIN!!!

Paula would get the business. All that sexual repression unleashed behind closed doors, wooh, Lawd! She seems like my favorite kind of person, freak. They say the freaks come out at night, but the freaks come out on Sunday morning.

Then Ashley, because she's a junior freak. Give her a few more years and she may get on Paula's level.

First I would like to say you guys rock my sox. lol and I missed this soo much, I first watched it over the summer, and when you guys were gone for break, it broke me. lol. but now you're back. YAY!!!!

In regards to this ep., it soo weird cause my friend and I had like the exact same comments to say about that ep of son, especially when it came to Jonica, we called her Roger, the alien form American Dad, Big head, but like rest of the body is like weird shaped, sooo...yeah..  We Def dont like Jonica, we're anti- Jonica. we're gettin t-shirts made and everything. lol. I also agreed with the whole not understanding why they still talk to Aiden, lets be honest, if this was real life, not many of us will talk to Aiden unless he was like family or something.  Oh and with the whole Ashley and Spencer thing it varies for me, one season I like Ashley more, and the next I like Spencer more, but right now in 3 I'm def diggin ashley, But Spencer's lips are gorgeous I must say. Ok I'm done now.....

I.. know i'm late, but i can be slow sometimes. I like you guys so much because you remind me of my friends from college when I was goin to charlotte. We use to sit around and watch the Justice League, play UNO( because its better then phaze 10), and go to the club in between studying.

Ok, first, I just have to say that I loved Jenn getting upset at the end, and threatening to take her jacket off when she saw the ads for the "possible" last episodes of South of Nowhere... Hilarious!

And about the Grandparents thing...  Yes, my grandparents know... My paternal grandma said to me, and I quote, "Get outta here............. Well...... You go, GIRL!!!" hahahahahahaha... My maternal grandmother actually CAME TO ME, and told me that she knew I had a girlfriend (that I had CLEARLY, not so cleverly disguised as my roommate)... And you know what she said to me? She told me that when she was my age, she 'tried it out herself' but she had decided that it wasn't for her... OMG!!!!

So, long story short, Yes, my grandparents know and they support me... I'm so lucky... Now... Do we discuss it over the dinner table, NO, but when I was dating men, and even while I transitioned as a bisexual, my love life was never discussed at dinner anyway... lol... So, in the respect, I guess nothing has really changed... *shrug*

Anyway, you guys are BEAUTIFUL and AWESOME as always... Count down til next week...

So random. LOL. I remember those commercials.

 I would never tell my grandparents. They are from a different time where I'm sure their beliefs on gender and race are archaic enough. I can't imagine what they'd think of me being gay. They don't need to know, I'm just not close enough with them that'd it be worth the awkwardness for me and the disturbingness for them. We only see each other at family get-togethers. 

I watched the whole season already because it aired in france before it did here, and from the way they ended it, i don't think there's going to be another season. I hope there'll be one but it doesn't look like there will be. SUCKS

My mother quite seriously asked me not to tell my grandmother, because she's had five heart attacks and we probably shouldn't risk it.
