The Pride of FrankensteinAs one of Halloween's most infamous characters, Frankenstein has gotten a bad rap. You know the story — he was created to be like the rest of us (male, anyway) but came out a little distorted. In fact, he ended up being kind of creepy, despite just being misunderstood. Lesbian comedian Cameron Esposito plays Frankenstein's Bride in this hilarious video, "The Pride of Frankenstein," where she leaves "Frank" for another woman, despite being "made for him — literally." Frank's ex (Esposito) tells the interviewer how she loves him, she's just not in love with him, and she's met her match in a fellow female of the undead (Esposito's real life girlfriend, Zee Hartmann). Very good!!
Great video! I really enjoyed it, although it is worth mentioning that 'Frankenstein' was the man who created 'the monster'. Common mistake though!
Thank you for posting my video!
Thanks so much for posting this video! I'm the co-writer, director, and editor, and that's my boyfriend Bryan "friend of lesbians, dogs, and eater of little babies" Bowden as Frank.
We had a big conversation about the fact that Victor Frankenstein is the doctor's name and not the monster's, but we decided to accommodate the popular usage of the name.
We're very excited to screen this video at Cameron's stand-up gig tonight at the Lincoln Lodge here in Chicago. Hopefully we'll get lots of laughs. YAY CAMERON!
