WOO!

I won't rub too much salt in the wound but GO SPARKS!

Even though Parker did play well, the guard play really did step up but hey, Parkers name sells more. I blame the media for that.

People leaving WNBA games early does not surprise me at all. It happens in all sports. WNBA games are on tv just NBA TV which I have so I'm not missing out on games and my LA game is starting here in about 12 minutes too. :) But baseball and college football is why the games aren't on ESPN.

My poor Packers 11pt loss to the Boys was a hard one to swollow but all in all, I knew it was coming. Even with that, I'm glad to have Rodgers over Favre still.

NE's 21 regular season game winning streak ending was amazing. Funny how their last loss before was against who? The Dolphins in 06. And I have to say I was getting worried during the Giants game. Giants should have killed them BUT a win is a win.

You guys should bring Megan on more often(Along with Becca&Michelle). Just sayin'.
I like her. =)

what's on tv instead of basketball?

Okay, baseball and college football are fine things to put on tv, but I just turned on the tv for the WNBA game and do you know what is on? Scrabble. I'm not kidding.

sad day...

was the day the Storm lost!!  :(    I still have no words....all I have to say is, GO SILVERSTARS!!  We kind of left "early" in the sense we didn't say for the postgame interview but mainly because we needed to drown out sorrows away...ha!

it was an awesome week in the NFL too!! I agree with Megan bout Romo but as long as he is decent enough to produce for the Boys (and help me on my fantasy team) then I'll take it! The Hawks got a much needed win over a division rival but let me tell ya, im soo happy its a bye week for us! We're getting Engram and Branch back for our next game! THank you football gods! :)

Thanks for stepping in Megan!!!! I owe ya one....and just dont kick my ass in our league again! 'preciate it!

Is it

for sure Branch and Engram are going to be back for week 5? If so, I need to upgrade my WR position on some of my teams.

WOW

I'm left speechless for the last 1.3 seconds left from the LA/SA game. Game 3 should be just as great. Great job by both teams eespecially when SA gave up a 14pt lead.

Wow/ OMG

This was a very good game, even though i'm pissed that LA lost still a good game. I think LA should learn from their mistakes and play better defense especially on Sophia Young and Becky and Ann. Hell just have hands in all their faces come game 3. That, less fouls and get more points from the bench. I think the NY vs DET could be a game 3 as well.

As for the football season, after the Michael Vick thing i'm not watching it as much. Mainly b/c I miss watching him play. Maybe NY Giants will win the superbowl again, especially with know Tom Brady in the way.

OMFG!! SOPHIA "MVP" YOUNG!!

I don't know how much I can take...between the Sac over time and now this?!?! I was almost in tears...I could not believe they were going to loose the game...and then ...you could hear the whole place hold their breath...and it took a second or so for it to register..i still can't believe what i saw with my own two eyes..and then it was the biggest eruption ever! that was the loudest that place has been since the Sean Elliot three back in '89...HOLY F^&*!!! ARE YOU F&*%$#% KIDDING ME!! LOOK AT HER!!

and now I have to go do it all again tomorrow? I need to bring an oxygen tank.

Please keep the stars aligned!!

GO STARS!! GAME ON!!!

This Week

Great NFL analysis in this episode of the vlog. I'm really going to have to be more attentive to the regular season so that I can keep up.

A little surprised that, in your discussion about the lackluster reffing in the WNBA, you didn't note the Hoffman foul against Plenette Pierson. I mean, if ever there was proof of incompetent refereeing--that was it. Hopefully it was egregious enough to compel the league to evaluate refereeing in the off-season.

There's nothing about the Sparks and/or Candace Parker that I haven't said before, but sufficed to say, I'm cheering for "Anyone But The Sparks" at this point. Regardless, I feel like the powers that be already have the LA Sparks championship banner designed and the CP3 t-shirts ready to go. I don't even know why we even bother playing the games.

So

They will call late in the game offensive fouls on LA but not SA?

Ugh.

Great game though.

Oh LA

I wonder what it would take to make the LA team? I would love to play for them if for nothing else then to play SAN once again in the playoffs and destroy them. Off to semi-pro league first WBCBL. That was one hell of a good game though. I wonder who is gonna win the East now though. NFL what a good day today for Carolina at least.

All of my teams

LOST today.

Sparks. Red Sox and my Packers.
as if my day wasn't crap already. I would at least like to see the Bears lose.

Redemption

I'm glad LA lost for reasons I've already explained, but as I watched today, I realized that I'm even more excited for Becky Hammon and Sophia Young. It's good to be cheering for someone than against someone else.

At this point, I think Becky Hammon's success is a much deserved middle finger to all those folks who thought she wasn't worthy of being on the Olympic team (yeah, I'm still bitter about that). The fact that she helped defeat a team with three Olympians on it only makes the win that much more satisfying.

Also, I'm ecstatic for Young who, like Hammon, doesn't get talked about often enough as a contender for MVP. Her play has been stellar.

take that, Anne Donovan!

I completely agree. Not that she was still thinking about it, because I bet she's sort of over it, but I do love that Becky just tore it apart this season despite all the adversity that was so unfairly tossed her way. Faaaantastic.

soo proud

of SA...they are such a deserving team. each and everyone of them deserve nothing but the best. they all play their hearts out every game and it's paid off. Becky Hammon is my freaking idol...she practically owns my life (ok, not really...but it's pretty darn close lol). to have someone so incredibly good at what they do and still be so humble and genuine is truly amazing. i'm extremely proud of her. and the fact that the whole SA team posses that quality is one of the main reasons i'm a fan.

GOO STARS!!!!!

SinMyLove87's picture

What a 'shock'

that when the Shock/Liberty game is supposed to air on ESPN2, the Sox/Tigers game is on and so the game is on ESPN classic which like no one has. Not even me and I have everything.

Figures. >.<
