MVP should have been hers...her numbers were the same if not better than Candice Parker..And..Sophia is STILL PLAYING. It was totally a "popularity" contest. BTW..Sue looked AMAZING last night..holy hell she is gorgeous.

I have every intention of using my very last ticket next Thursday night. There is no WAY last night was my last Stars Game.. I have been sitting in those seats since they got here..and I cant live with that being the last game I will see. (I should be moving to a different city within the next year). I was in tears last night.

The TW shot was back in '99. I was at that game...That was incredible.

As far as SA goes..they are TOO UNSELFISH..they are making too many passes..and passing up open shots. Then forcing too many bad shots! Then NOT REBOUNDING offensively. They do not follow their shot. Now granted..Detroit is a fast team..and SA does need to get back on defense but SOMEONE can be under the basket.

They also need to gt the fire going early..like they did with LA..they came out swinging and the last two games..they are the ones getting hit first. by a team that they handled easily every time they played over the summer. Even with Cheryl Ford.

Don't even get me started on the ref..we could be here all day.

As far as the coverage goes..WHY THE F@$K WAS SOPHIA'S SHOT NOT THE TOP PLAY OF THE DAY(or WEEK)..It was ALLLLLLL collage football ...WTF?!?! They never even mentioned the game..I was SO PISSED OFF..I wanted to see it again..because I could not believe my eyes when I saw it happen in front of me!!

It is nice to see all the other Male teams coming to the games..even though i am sure it is required..but we had the Minor league Hockey team there for game one..along with the entire Spurs team. And David Robinson who is kinda regular at the Stars games..such a great guy. Last night..there were almost 17,000 at the game. The place only holds 19,000(on a HS football friday night in SA..that is an achievment)

I get ESPN classic so I was able to watch the games when they were on that channel. I knew it was on that channel b/c a announcer during the baseball game mentioned it. That was during the LA vs SAN game I think. After that I knew that if it's not on ESPN2 then it's on classic. It should be on the ticker at the bottom though or something...or stream it live on ESPN.com.

I'm calling it now Nolan for finals MVP, or Smith but I think Nolan is going to get it if they win....which I think they will. Detroit has Beckys number and they have been calling it, and Youngs number too.

Is anyone going to watch the Elitexc mma fight tonight on CBS. Gina Carano (aka Crush from American Gladiator) is on it, and fighting against Kelly Kobald it should be good. Cyborg is also fighting tonight and I think that fight will be streaming free online b/c it's not on the main card.

Oh I can't even tell you the high I was on...until last night. I screamed like you would not believe when So made that shot game 2 of the western conference finals. I admit I thought we were done. Then game three coming back at the end to win again. After losing game one in the finals I thought ok it'll be fine we'll win game 2 go to Detroit steal a game there and come back to San Antonio to win a championship on our home court. But then....game 2 happened....Not only did we lose again and are looking very much like we're going to get swept, but the entire freaking game all they talked about was Candace Parker winnin both MVP and Rookie of the Year. WTF there is a game going on and instead of showing that we have to listen to her talk? And the announcers go on and on and on about it. Just ruined my freaking week!

I do realize that I refered to the Stars as we alot as though I actually play, sadly I do not lol I still haven't completely given up hope though because if there is any team in the WNBA that can come back and still win it all it is San Antonio.

The Shock are in NOOOO way going to sweep the Stars!!  Katie Smith may be deadly, but so is Becky!  Detroits  huddles must be pretty short and simple..."Get Becky, Get Becky!!"  LOL.  I have the Stars in 5!!

Parker...Ewwww!  Of the games I DID see her play in (mostly NY And SA Games) She did nothing.  Or so it seemed.  Becca's right...everyones drooling over parker...I just don't see why!  Good player she is..but just don't see it.

ESPN---I Taped game 3 (NY/DET) On ESPN2.  All Baseball untill like the last 10mins of the 4th!  UNREAL! LOL.  Something has definitely got to be done about that!  But atleast they were nice enough to go back a forth every once and awhile! LOL.

Can't wait for tomorrows game!!  I'm either gonna be real happy...or boith of my fists are going to be hurtin. LOL!

hi everyone, i'm a seattle storm fan and really really really don't like lisa leslie, but... I have to say... candice parker it is a damn good player. i saw her paly just in few games plus the olympics, maybe she is not spectacular and you go away thinking "she did nothing"... but then you look at the numbers and you get it.

do you see how hard they should defense on her? how good are her foundamentals? she can handle the ball in pretty much every situation, she plays for the team... and she's a rookie. in my opinion she really is a great player. maybe the way media and tv talk about her is annoying, i agree, but she is still a good player... i wouldn't mind to see parker+jackson in a dreaming storm team :)

btw... go stars! :)))

MVP should have to gone to Whalen, hands down. This was supposed to be Conneticut's rebuilding year. Whalen had no super stars to help her out. I love So, but Whalen deserves it. Peoples argument against So getting it was that she is surrounded by stars. um helllloooo, have you seen La's starters? it makes no sense that Parker got it when she has 2 other gold medalists playing right beside her. MVP doesnt stand for Most Valuable Player this year, it stands for Most Valuable Profit-maker.

The stars had a great run this season, and im so proud of them. It was sad to see them lose after dominating the east all regular season (14-0) but there is always next season.

Also, those are some U-G-L-Y hats.

So's shot in game 2 nearly killed me. The crowd went insane after it went in, it was fantastic.

First to watch the Cubs magical season explode in my face..and then ..ugh...Stars...I was in tears and angry at the same time. When I left game two..i was in tears..I really did not want that to be my last Stars game..I may be moving and have been in those seats since they arrived on SA..it would have been perfect to leave with a championship. I took so many shots the other night..including one of my seats. My wonderful 6th row seats that I have practically broken in all the excitement of the last two weeks and then collapsed into by crushing defeat that was the finals.

The pure energy and high from the WC games..was unreal..A high I was ready to stay on for ever.But you can't win if you don't show up..and they didn't show up...that was not the same team that DOMINATED the Eastern Conference all summer. And to top it off..a sweep...wtf?!?! I am still crushed..it still hurts.. i will be saving my unused Game Five ticket. A reminder of the one that got away. I hope that where ever I am next summer I can make a few trips back to see this fantastic team. (If I am still here for some reason.. I am already IN.)
