From the Cheap Seats: Glamour shots (Episode 65)On this week's episode of From the Cheap Seats, Becca and Michelle report briefly on EuroLeague basketball with a special shout out to Janel McCarville for helping them. The majority of the vlog is dedicated to college media guides and why are they more glamorized. Texas A&M Women’s Basketball Team Is this glamorization of College Women’s Basketball good or bad for the sport? Is there an underlining homophobia? This is a vlog by fans for fans, so please leave plenty of comments, questions, rants and raves, or anything else that comes to mind. And check back next weekend for another episode! The Aggies
I have to say that I find the Texas A&M media guide far more insidious than I find the FSU website, mainly due to the presence of Gary Blair. To just call it creepy is a understatement, in my opinion. I think it crosses the line from glamorization to whorization--he looks like a pimp standing there among his stable of prostitutes (an image bolstered by the stance of the woman in the chair on the right).
I feel bad even saying that, as I'm sure that these girls are incredible people, but that media guide is just horrendously offensive. Plus, where the hell is the rest of the team? That can't be their entire roster...
This will make cheering against them on Sunday when they play Duke a little easier.

I like the shots
I like the shots, with the popularity of next top model, project runway etc, who's to say the girls didn't want to play dressup for the day.

Elena Delle Donne has come back to basketball
which is amazing. Link toespn video about her coming back. She was at UConn but left to be closer to home where her older sister who is blind a deaf lives, but at first said she was also burned out.
