Thanks for the tour. The set building stage was interesting. Looks like loads of work. I pretty much assumed all scenes were shot on location somewhere.

I am so excited that the show is finally on location- that means closer to Season 2!

Seriously, Michelle this was fabulous! Thanks for the tour. I've always wanted to see the inside of a set. Gives me a better appreciation for all the hard work that goes into make Exes & Ohs. I just love this show! And Sam does indeed have a great rack...of clothing that is! I know, lame joke but I couldn't resist! Marnie is a doll face. Jen and Sam are my dream couple! But we'll have to wait until season 20 before they finally hook up. That's how every great show is! 

Oh and Michelle I don't think you're lame at all. Adorable comes to mind when I think about you. Side note: don't you love having curls when it's raining out? Talk about fro! No wonder you pulled your hair back! I have shoulder length hair and it's a nightmare. I never leave home without my brush. 

I can't wait until the next vlog! Please do show some bloopers! You're hilarious.

I agree, I'm starting to get excited for Season 2 already. Not that the episodes focusing on the writing/beat sheets/scripts aren't also really interesting, but seeing the set under construction makes it seem that much closer to being on my tv screen :)

Welcome back.  You and your humour have been missed.  It's great to see you back, sharing all the insider information with us.  Thanks for the tour of the office and the set.

You could consider yourself lucky that you were only bothered by rain - some parts of Central Canada have already been blessed with their first brush of snow (thankfully mixed with rain). 

Of course, I'm sure we would all love to view the airport bloopers.  Anyone that has spent time at one at any hour, let alone an ungodly one, will sympathize with you.

Thanks for the update.  I do backstage theatre work so its episodes like this that I love to watch and see how stuff comes together.  However, since I do mainly theatre its interesting to see tv/movie soundstages and compare.  I have to ask: what kind of lighting gets used on soundstages? I know in theatre there are lights that hang from a grid up above but from your tour I couldn't tell if there was a grid, all I saw were the halogen lights that I assume don't get used for filming.  Or has that part of the process not happened yet? 

I also assume you leave the sets where they are and manuever around so as to fit and not capture something on camera that isn't supposed to be on the set (like using curtains to avoid seeing the other set out the window) but it seems like you would run out of space because it didn't look like there was alot of inbetween room.  Does filming get tricky sometimes  . . . like if you can't get the angle of a shot you want because you can't get the camera into a spot where you need it?

You also mentioned boxing stuff up after season 1 aired and how now they are building stuff and unboxing the whatnots . . . you should probably tell them that they should keep ordering seasons of the show just so that next time they don't have to spend the time and money to store stuff and unpack it all later. 

Oh, and if they are building the chris's house on the soundstage does that mean they just used on set location for season 1?  . . . Or did they just take it apart and box it up like they did the costumes?

You really are the best :) Stop apologizing for not having time to vlog more, this is way more than we are asking for. It's fascinating to be "part" of all the process of that season.

Thanks for the backstage tour, even if it did leave me dizzy....very very dizzy. It's exciting to see how a show starts from an idea and forms into something so big. Anyways congrats and I look forward to seeing the next season!!

p.s. I know this rain means that you can't do what most LAers do, but we find plenty of interesting things to do in the rainy winter months. I promise you this year the Canucks won't dissapoint, we'll make you a fan eventually :P

wanna thank you for showing us around the production office. really insightful. I think all this vlog you're doing is really cool and i think you know how to keep your audience tight. Anyhow, i just wanna know if you have an assistant? whether is it like during the film production stage or what? It's crazy work you're doing... so do you go solo or what?

Ok, no season 2 teasers but... we all noticed how Jen has many internal monologues in season1, and most of them are really funny (i totally love those images-going-inside-your-head). haha.. but wondering would you extend this "talking-inside-yr-head" thing to other characters as well? or is it just specificaly for jen?
