Swan Island "Night Owl"

Swan Island may be on hiatus, but their indie rock is definitely still worth listening to. The quintet's video for "Night Owl" shows you why: their infectious energy is undeniable. They've shared the stage with the now defunct Sleater-Kinney, which makes me think a reunion tour would be a great idea for both Portland bands.

Agreed.

Isn't Mirah from Portland, too?

If those three went on tour together, I might just die.

Amazingness.

I've never heard them

Until just nooow..and they're on hiatus?  DANG, I dig the sound, and looks like a group of cute girls.  I'm sad I never got to see these girls with Sleater-Kinney, that would've been an awesome show.

I saw this band a couple of years ago when they opened for The Gossip. I enjoyed their performance so much I bought their CD. The lead singer is pretty cute, too, I think she went onstage to sing backup for Beth Ditto. I'm sad to hear they are on hiatus!
