Great interview,very

Great interview, very efficient use of video:) I liked the fact that even this woman filled with wisdom and optimism is having trouble finding gay women she is interested in dating.lol I so feel ya!

Her take on the need for that spiritual connection is so spot on.And her clarification why an atheist would be out of the question versus a spiritual person that was just not jewish drove it home.

The Dalai Lama's view of same sex sexuality

Being an atheist, I haven't had any reason to read the "Oh God I'm Gay" vlogs. The mention of Ms. Sojourner's political activism attracted my attention. Being Canadian, it held my interest, because Sabrina's political activism went beyond American mainstream politics. Like Sabrina, I am in the middle of my fifties. Because of that, I feel okay about sharing information about one of the people she admires. In a Canadian television interview, the Dalai Lama was questioned about his view on same sex marriage. He had been laughing during this long interview. His expression immediately changed after the question. It could have been because no one else on this planet had asked him this question publicly before this. His expression became a stern, unhappy expression, and I can't remember exactly what he said, but it was to state that same sex marriage was not approved of in his religious organization. I am glad I watched the Sojourner interview (the questions were great) and found Sabrina to be an inspiring speaker and activist.

Excellent interview

Thank you so much for this interview. Two points I loved

1. That the LGBTQ community can be too focused on the issues that effect them that they forget to see the bigger picture.

2. You don't have to repsond to ingnorance with anger. You can choose to educate. (This, I believe is a very important point.)

Hey, Alicia you are doing a great job about including people from different faiths to talk about their personal journey and views on faith. Do you plan on inlcuding an Atheist in this vblog? I think it would be a great addition if you haven't planned on it. Because Atheism also includes spiritual journey and as Sabrina Sojourner pointed out is also a belief system.

P.s. Hey is that the G train in the opening credits?

Sabrina Sojourner

Thank you for her interview. I have never heard of Sabrina Sojourner until now. I believe I had seen Sabrina Sojourner listed as a speaker during the Black Atlanta Pride this Labor Day weekend.
