"Skins" Season 4 doesn't shy away from its lesbian relationshipIf there's one show that does a great job at making its burgeoning lesbian relationship equal to, if not better, its straight counterparts, it's the UK's Skins. Last month we got a look at some clips of the new season from the show's video-mash up contest, and now, in a new season 4 promo, there's a lot of making out (per usual, for the show) and much of it includes Naomi and Emily. Here's my hypotheses for what will happen in the fourth season between Naomily: They will ride a motorcycle.
They will share moments in bed.
They will kiss.
They will indulge in a, uh, darkly lit massage.
Too bad UK viewers won't be able to watch until Jan. 21, and U.S. viewers will have to wait even longer for BBC America to catch up. Either way, it's heartening to me that Naomily will continue to be a big part of the show. Are you psyched on Skins? Submitted by on November 12, 2009 - 5:00pm. |

Was anybody else a little unnerved by Emily on the top of that building? And by the fights it looks like Emily and Naomi have? Yikes. So excited for this. Looks like there's going to be a lot of drama to talk about -- but I'm sure that won't stop Skins from being the best written, acted, and produced teen show out there right now.

Not Emily
To all those people who thought Emily was about to jump, or that she was being all sad, etc.
That wasn't her, it was her twin sister Katie. If you watch it obsessively enough you'll get good at spotting it. For instance, Katie is the one that the video starts and ends with, not Emily. Another way to tell is that Emily has a freckle under her right eye, while Katie has a freckle next to her left eye.
WRONG.
It's Emily. Emily has redder hair than Katie. And a more rounded nose.
Its wierd how we had the same thing with series 3 trailer and the locker/kiss scene. Everyone was like 'It's katie' and it turned out to be Emily. The peeps who make the trailers aren't stupid. They want us to speculate.

The roof scene and the start/finish scenes are all Emily. Katie has much darker hair in S4, the bright red hair is Emily's. I am 100% positive that they are Emily.
The massage scene isn't a massage scene and it's not naomily. It's part of the the Thomas/Pandora sex scene. The Naomily sex scene if with Naomi on top.

The trailer looks great--plenty of Naomily and it looks like they're going develop Thomas' character some (I heart him). PLUS, the fun sponge seems to be less prominent and I couldn't be happier about that. I can't wait.
Also, did anyone else get the impression that they're introducing new characters to carry over into the next generation?
