you're so right! i remember thinking their music was kinda varied when i heard 'living room'.. sounds like a song by Texas who themselves are varied (another favourite band)
i haven't heard any of the punk or folk/pop ones you listed though..

their music isn't that great. i remember hearing 'don't confess' and thinking, wow i like that. so i then bought the album it was on and was disappointed, it was crap!!
i don't get why people rave about them so much, but then, not everyone has to like them.

if you'd actually read what i wrote, you'll have noticed i said i did like that one song i heard, and on the back of that, got the album.
so i don't not like anything they've made.
the whole world doesn't have to like them, like you said, we like who we like. you may have 'negative' things to say about artists i like, that's just the way it is!
we may not like their music, but that doesn't mean we hate on them. maybe some of us are just sick fed up of having T&S (and how great they are) rammed down our throats all the time!!

I'm yet to watch just had to comment and say a), really like your shirt it looks really nice on you, didn't think anything could come close to the Blue Blaze but it does.
and b) was watching the olympic games except nothing seemed to be happening just countries walking on so I was cooking at the same time and listening but not looking and the announcer guy says something like "..... and walking on in their blue blazers" and something in my brain-parts went DING!!!!! t'was an automatic feeling of comedy/fuzziness before i had consciously linked the emotion to you and your vlog.. see its iconicness is linked deeply into my brain parts!
then i looked at the TV though and their blazers were horrible!! such a let down..
