Zuleikha Robinson gets "Lost"

Zuleikha Robinson is not very well known as her work on both New Amsterdam and Rome has been short-lived. However, she's going to be recognized now, after becoming a regular cast member of the hit show, Lost.

The London-born actress was raised in both Malaysia and Thailand, so she's certainly worldly. Some may remember her from the 2007 film The Namesake, in which she played Moushimi, opposite the protagonist Golgol (Kal Penn).

Entertainment Weekly reports that Robinson will play Illana, "a European female who possesses great intelligence but who's also dangerous as all get out. She's alluring and apparently used to getting her own way." She sounds like everyone else on the island. She sounds like trouble — I like her already!

Lost fans, what do you think of the addition? Is it too late in the game to be adding a new (though pretty) face?

She was awesome on The Lone

She was awesome on The Lone Gunmen (remember The X-Files spinoff?  Yeah, another short-lived tv series on her resume-she's quite a showkiller!) so she gets a thumbs up from me.  Also: HOW PRETTY IS SHE ZOMG.

Lone Gunman.

Yep. She was in every episode - most of the time clad in black leather, too!

Lost and Sexy

As long as they aren't adding anyone else that looks like Hurley im cool lol.  Plus the show could use more sexy women cause I think Evangeline Lilly or one of the three actress thats been there since season 1 won't be returning this coming season.

Thank you THANK YOU . . .

For writing about this woman.  She absolutely turned my head 'round and inside-out when I saw her for the first time (and the second, as well as the third time) in, 'The Namesake." Then I rented "The Lone Gunman," "The Merchant of Venice," and "Hidalgo" just so I could see more of her.  She is beautiful to the point of ridiculousness and I am so happy to see her working and getting more visibility.  So .  .  .    thank you for recognizing her and hipping more folks to her.
