Your 10 Hottest Women of ColorThis is not meant as a criticism of the present list because I realize not everyone can be included and obviously a lot of work and effort went into the list. Overall, I think its pretty good and I'm glad to see the vloggers being appreciated. But I was very disappointed by the lack of women of color on the list. And a number of people felt this way as well, judging by the comments on the list. And a couple of people mentioned that there were actually more women of color on the Maxim list than the AE list, which is very disappointing since we pride ourselves on being more diverse, aware and enlightened. I think 18 women of color is very disappointing and that's why I wanted to start a forum topic asking you who your top 10 hottest women of color are. They can be people mentioned on the list or people who you think should have been part of the list. Double points if they are out lesbian/bi women or have played a lesbian/bi character because there seems to be so few of them. And I know if I knew more lesbian/bi/gay friendly women of color when growing up coming out would have been much easier for me. Another reason for having this thread is because just like lesbian/bi visibility is important, so similarly it is extra important to have lesbian/bi women of color coverage because we get so little of it in mainstream media and LGBT publications. We did, however, do better than afterelton.com as they only had 9 people of color on their list. Ok here are my top 10, what are yours? Some of these have been mentioned on the hot 100 but i couldn't really think of too many other lesbian/bi/gay friendly women of color. And that's why we need more visibility. Actress..
Thandie Newton is a great actress, she is one of my favorite. She is animated and emotional at the same time. I really like her in "Beloved" and her small role in "Interview With the Vampire".
Aaliyah, I agree with you definitely, she was Gorgeous. However I have personally excluded her from my list because I see her as a role model. Her personality and how she carried herself, is what I would describe as beautiful.

Sara Ramirez - exceptionally hot in too many ways to list
Sandra Oh - I love her ability to play just about any type of character, and her eyes always draw me in
Jenn - not only does she have the looks, but she definitely has the voice! I could listen to her read War and Peace and never lose interest.
Rose Rollins - I was about to give up on the L Word and then Tasha joined.
Whoopi Goldberg - smart, witty, funny, intelligent, talented and true to herself (and if you don't like it, you can be damned).....what's not to love?
Alicia Keys - again...it's all about the voice (and obviously not hard to look at)
